The Galion Public Library

The Galion Public Library has been serving the Galion community since 1901, and today has a collection of about 100,000 items for patrons to enjoy. The Library is a great free resource for education and entertainment. It's an active and vital part of the Galion community. 

The Galion Historical Society

The Galion Historical Society is a great place to connect with and learn about the history of Galion, Ohio. The Historical Society owns several sites around town, like Brownella Cottage, the Koppe – Skinner House, and the Historic Grace Church. Visit their website for more information or to see the schedule for touring their historic properties around Galion. 

Galion Center YMCA

The Galion Center YMCA (a.k.a. Community Center) has been serving the Galion community since 1957. The Gill Avenue facility has a pool, fitness center, basketball courts, a Jacuzzi and conference rooms. Visit the Center Y's website for more information on their offerings and hours.

Galion City Schools

To all the kids: I apologize for putting the school under 'things to do' - but I do want to add a link to the school website so people can easily find the information they need.

Galion Community Hospital

This one also probably doesn't fit so great under 'things to do' - but again - I wanted the information and link to the Galion hospital's website to be easy to find for anyone who needs it. Plus, R. V. Tucker just submitted a nice summary of the Avita Healthcare System: Galion hospital's information,
